About Us
Based in Virginia's Hunt and Wine country but with projects throughout the US, Michael is an interior designer that uses thoughtful, beautiful interiors for commercial and residential projects. His perspective is informed by a respect for historical architecture coupled with an appreciation of the playfulness and brightness of modern design.
Michael has over 30 years of experience working with residential and commercial clients. An Atlanta native, he began his career working for industry leaders such as The Furniture Works, Forsyth Fabrics, and Hilda Flack Interiors among others learning his craft while honing his own style. Then in 1998 he started his first design firm Edward M. Interiors. Edward M. Interiors eventually expanded to a staff of 8 which included a “to the trade” drapery workroom, upholstery shop and retail store specializing in home decor and gifts. Edward M. Interiors worked with clients in Tampa, Atlanta, Georgia’s Golden Isles and Washington, D.C. After selling Edward M. Interiors and relocating to Virginia he started Michael Edward Biddy Interiors.
Michael Edward Biddy Interiors specializes in full service design.Some of the many services are: designing, fabricating and installing draperies,upholstered furniture both new and re upholstered, slipcovers and bedding.Re modeling both kitchens and baths as well as new home construction. We still work in Atlanta, Hilton Head, Washington and all other points in between!
In 2018 Michael along with his partner Scott Davis opened a retail outlet, The Fox & Pheasant, located in historic Virginia's hunt and wine country, If in the neighborhood of Boyce, Virginia stop in and say hi.
